Water Purifier Faucet Smedur comes with a pre-installed combination cartridge that allows you to choose between the purification technologies of Ultrafiltration + Activated Carbon or Ahlstrom + Activated Carbon in one single cartridge.Additionally, an extra cartridge with only Activated Carbon is included free of charge. The Smedur water purifier is installed directly on the kitchen faucet and fits most faucets, i.e., those with an outer thread of 22mm or inner thread of 24mm. The capacity is up to 1.5 liters per minute for cartridges with Ahlstrom and 1 liter per minute for cartridges with UF. Easy to clean and replace filters. The cartridge should be replaced after about 6 months unless it signals earlier that it needs to be changed.

Water Purifier Faucet Smedur comes with a combination cartridge that includes two different technologies in one: Ultrafiltration + Activated Carbon or Ahlstrom + Activated Carbon. Ultrafiltration is a high-tech method that mimics nature’s own way of purifying water and removes unwanted substances and toxins, including very small microorganisms such as parasites, bacteria, and amoebas.Beneficial minerals and trace elements pass through the filter and remain in the water. The UF cartridge is highly effective but may have a shorter lifespan if the water contains a lot of particles, lime, or iron. The flow decreases and stops when the UF cartridges are full. In that case, you can easily switch to the extra included carbon cartridge or opt for Ahlstrom + Activated Carbon instead, which has a longer lifespan.Ahlstrom is one of the most effective purification technologies and differs from a mechanical filter by working with electro-adsorption. The filter is positively charged and acts as a barrier against extremely small particles, as these tend to become more electronegative the smaller they are. Ahlstrom captures extremely tiny particles at the nano level, which can be 5,000 times smaller than a strand of hair. However, minerals and salts can pass through, preserving all the health benefits of the purified water.Ahlstrom removes a wide range of pathogens and contaminants, such as bacteria, parasites, viruses, pharmaceutical residues, microplastics, and PFAS. Activated Carbon helps reduce the amount of chlorine, organic pollutants, pharmaceutical residues, and PFAS substances in the water. It can also improve the taste and odor of drinking water and is often recommended if you have municipal water. The Smedur comes in an attractive gift box with the combination cartridge pre-installed in the purifier and an extra carbon cartridge in the package. A multi-adapter is included. Fits most faucets.
